A techie has developed kits that can monitor vital health parameters of pregnant women living in remote villages and periodically send updates to the respective healthcare professionals.

A unique start-up, created by M Senthil Kumar, a tech worker based in Madurai has set out to address this issue. The creation of the start-up is a kit — named SaveMom — that can monitor several vital health parameters of pregnant women in remote rural villages, all the while sending the data back as a live feed to the relevant health professionals.

It is a real-time health tracking concept which reduces the chances of data error by the person and also ensuring validation of the measurement done on a regular basis.”

This Startup Is Monitoring Maternal Health Using Smart Wearables

Madurai-based start up, JioVio Healthcare, introduces a new feature to an in-house app to help with GPS tracking of those in mandated quarantine due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

JioVio had to get creative after data showed its maternity trackers were being used by husbands instead of pregnant wives.

Qcare, founded by M Senthil Kumar, helps its user get an alert when he or she is more than 15 to 20 metres away from the house of a person asked to be under quarantine. “The address provided by the person to be under quarantine is marked. The officials concerned in the respective district get a message when they are 100 metres away from their house,” said Senthil Kumar who is CEO of Jiovio Healthcare.
